Bio

Marta Antelo was born in the Mediterranean city of Valencia, Spain where studied Fine Arts.

She currently lives and works in Madrid with her husband, daughter and roborowsky hamster, working for clients all over the world.

She likes to work with complementary colors and simple, flat, closed shapes and continuous lines. Education, environment, lifestyle, multiraciality or yoga are her most recurrent themes. If the commission allows it, she likes to use concepts avoiding the literalness, if not, colors and composition are the points of attention.

She started publishing in magazines and press and collaborating with art directors. In recent years she has been mainly dedicated to illustrating children’s books, she has published a total of 15 titles translated into many languages, among which Rosa Parks stands out from the Little People Big Dreams collection published by Quarto Group.
